A word for the Grownups:
Michigan Congregational Summer Camp is a cooperative effort of the Michigan Conference of Congregational Christian Churches. Our camp staff consists of clergy, lay leaders and students from all over Michigan. They provide Christian leadership in the cabins, programs, and classes. Each staff member participates on a volunteer basis.

Camp Philosophy
We are a Christian camp. By that we mean we are Christ-centered and believe that the Holy Spirit lives in the staff and campers. We believe in the freedom and responsibility of the individual soul and the right to private decision making.

Goals
Our purpose is to help campers develop, through the Christian camping experience, a knowledge of God, the Bible, and the life and teachings of Christ. Campers learn to live together as Christians, growing in Christian responsibility, citizenship, and fellowship. It is our prayer and hope that the lessons learned at camp will affect the lives of the campers beyond their camping experience.

How much does it cost?

Picture
  • Save money by registering early!  Early Registration ends June 1st, with a cost of $365 per camper. Just send a deposit of $75 per camper to secure your spot. The balance will be due by July 1st. (A savings of $35 per camper!!!)
  • If your Registration is received after June 1st your costs will be $400 per camper. (No discount will be given after June 1st.)

These are great rates for a full week of camp, we realize times are tight for many families. But, if you submit a non-refundable deposit of $75 before June 1st, not only will you secure a lower price, you can also make smaller payments over time. Just remember that all remaining balances are due by July 1st (minus the $75 deposit that were applied for the early registration.)

Lastly, if you miss all deadlines... please check with us!! We generally have room available (for a camper or two) in several of the cabins.

If you need financial assistance with the cost of camp, talk to your church!  Many churches have scholarship funds available for kids to attend camp.  And contact our camp director, Rev. Sarah Terlouw, about possible scholarship funds available for camp this year.
